Joe Bonamassa

The first night has completely disappeared off Ticketmaster. If like me you have a ticket for that night, I'd recommend adding the ticket to your Google/Apple wallet ASAP.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was oversold.

That's bizarre.
I found it strange when they announced the third show and said the first two were sold out.

They weren't sold out at all, I went and bought tickets straight away.

Now the first show has disappeared and the second one is showing up as sold out.

I'd be a bit nervous now as I was last in so could be first out if they start dishing out refunds. Can't see it being hard finding tickets closer the time anyway. A lot of these tickets are being bought abroad and we don't have the hotel capacity for that many travelling fans.

Bonamassa has posted to say that his guitar collection is under threat from the fires.

Secondary to human life of course, but still

Great stuff.

Look, I'm not one of the Rory disciples who'd possibly say he's not Rory or he didn't play this song or didn't do such and such, but he was magnificent in my opinion.

He brought out a particular guest who's probably no secret to (m)any, and probably should have had him there for more tunes than he did, but it was a great night.

I don't think too many people could be disappointed. Well worth the outlay and the trip down, in my opinion. Great guitarist, and that's all that matters.

I really enjoyed it too..

It was Apex guitar wankery and I don't mean that as a criticism.

It's great strength was that it was certainly Joe Bonamassa's interpretation of Gallagher's music. This wasn't like watching Sinnerboy in some sweaty pub this also perhaps resulted in the gripe people might have which was it was lacking some of the propulsive frenetic energy Gallagher brought to his shows. Once you get your head around that you'll have a great night and we certainly did.

I thought the second half of the set picks up nicely from when your special guest arrives.

Ye already know who it is but fuckin Hell he's looking fit as a butchers dog

He must be knocking on 70 and looks 20 years younger

The band were great too. The drummer has been around the block a bit I think he was Noel Gallagher's drummer in high flying birds.

The Keys fella was class too Lachy Doley sounds like a PROC handle but definitely my first organ solo (at a concert anyway)

The crowd were auld. But up for it. Gallagher certainly has plenty of devotees

I've seen plenty of great live shows in my time. Great artists, writers and performers..Not sure I've seen such a virtuoso musician in a long time.

it was great.

Used to love them in the Crúiscín Lán back in the day. They were my introduction to his music in a live setting.
