I dunno, Britain is approaching something like a breaking point. It really does feel like the populace, whatever your political stripes, believes that the country is fundamentally broken.

There's an anger about what's been done that I've not witnessed before. Maybe it's just projection, I'm certainly very angry about what the Tories are doing, but I dunno. As an example, got a haircut the other day, hairdresser was complaining, quite forcefully, about her £600 energy bill and how the fuck was she going to pay that?

These corruption scandals are just nails in the coffin for any hopes that Sunak will turn things around.

It's still potentially 2 years till the next election. I'd put the chances of one before then above 50%, but not much.

Daily Mail/Express types have turned against the Tories because they're not right wing enough.

I suspect they'd all vote Reform Party.

Just shows that pandering to right wing loons is pointless as they are never satisfied and never acknowledge that it is their ideology that is flawed.

This was always the case and like the hard line Socialists or Communists down through history Brexit will be plotted against by remainers and elites and never done properly EVER!

Liz Trusses daft budget and failed Government was the end conclusion of Brexit and now they are like a dog that has caught up with the car it was chasing and does not know what to do with it once caught.

All they are left with is rapid decline and they were warned back in 2016 but it was simply dismissed as "Project fear"
