Jesus lads, 'tis looking like BREXIT!

I see Farage is bemoaning the brain drain of bankers from London to the continent. That he still has supporters and wields influence is a clear indication of the stupidity of the British public.

Holidays are back, but Brits should be aware of entry requirements and travel rules which still govern some of the world's biggest hotspots.

Spain, France, Portugal and Turkey have all reopened to Brits for getaways, and while most have ended Covid rules, most have new entry requirements for British passport holders following the country's departure from the European Union.

The 10 year validity thing is far more of a fuck up than most brits realise.

A friend's passport is an excellent example of this. It says it's valid till July 2023.
They renewed it in Oct 2012 but they did it with 9 months validity remaining.
In the UK, they stick that time onto the end of the validity period of your passport.

But for the Schengen area, passports are only valid for 3rd country non EU passports for 10 years from date of issue.
And you need 3 months remaining of valid time on your passport before entering the country.

Which means my friend's passport became invalid in July 2022, a full year before the expiration date of their passport.

Nigel Farage has caused another storm on Twitter, saying that ‘unlike the English, who say very little, the Irish are speaking out – and protesting on the streets – about the huge number of young, male ‘asylum seekers.’

The tweet was mocked for multiple reasons.

One was because of the former UKIP and Brexit Party leader’s historical ignorance towards Ireland.

“Nigel “Up the ra!” Farage thinks he knows about Ireland??” wrote one Twitter user.

The comment was in reference to Farage’s gaffe in 2021 when he said he was hoaxed into ending a paid-for birthday greeting with the saying ‘”up the ra.” When asked by the Belfast Telegraph if Farage knew the implication of the expression “up the ra”, a press officer for the GB News presenter said:

“I imagine he probably didn’t, otherwise he wouldn’t have said something like that, would he?”

The video was posted on social media and attracted a mountain of disbelief that Farage had actually uttered the slogan. One user said: “The IRA would probably say ‘Up Farage!’, because he’s done more harm to the UK than they managed.”

‘Were you lying?’

Others pointed to the irony of Farage moaning about today’s migrant crisis when he had made controlling the UK’s borders a leading Brexit pledge.

Retweeting the prominent Eurosceptic’s tweet from 2016 that read “for the sake of our national security, we must control our own borders. We can only do that by leaving the European Union,” another bemused Twitter user posted:

“Only those with no self respect blame their inadequacies on foreigners. But didn’t you say Brexit would end that problem. Were you lying?”

I'm getting more convinced the "Up the RA" comment was deliberate and he's doing a cracking job as the covert Minister of Mayhem, bringing about a united Ireland by destroying the UK from within.

It's the only plausible explanation, besides from him being a complete blithering idiot.

The U.K. body politick including Brexiteer headbangers are now at the stage of identifying all the bad things about Brexit but they are yet to reach the stage of identifying any solutions.

Danger of power cuts in Britain this evening according to Kay Burley on Sky.

?
Reports last week saying unlikely this winter due to generally higher than expected temperatures allowing more gas to be stored in Western Europe. Apparently it would now require a sustained and deep cold snap to put the grid under serious pressure.

The problem with the the British public and Brexit, it is much easier to con them than convince them that they were actually conned!
