Jesus lads, 'tis looking like BREXIT!

The governor of the bank of England is now saying that Brexit has been highly damaging to the UK economy. He's effectively been blocked politically from doing so up to now.

In other "fuck me, the Tories were utterly shit" news

Bought by private investors in August 2022 for about £6.3m. They contacted the government, government bypassed procurement processes, bought it for £15 million less than a year later with fuck all being done and without even planning permission.

Turns out it was contaminated site, no provision for clean up, going to cost £20 million to sort out.

But that's small potatoes in the grand scheme of things:
"Over the last three years, the department’s initial estimated budgets for asylum, border, visa and passport operations amounted to £320m.

But the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) said it spent £7.9bn over the period."

Just getting those incompetent fuckwits out of office will save an absolute fortune. No wonder Britain is broke

Oh for the days of empire when wearing a fucking top hat at Harrow equipped you to rule the world, given that you had an abundance of gun-fodder from shitholes all over the country to subdue the w*gs/Paddies. Unfortunately things have moved on and you actually need a modicum of intelligence to run things. It's most unfair old chap (Anyone up for fucking a dead pig? It's stupendous fun!).

Because this is fun, let's stick the boot in.
Brexit was about reducing net migration.
How's that working out?

Britain had enough of experts, the government focused on what would be best for them personally and pwning the libtards...

The Tories aren't letting up on the stupids

Khomeini died in 1989, 13 years before the court was founded.

They issued one for Putin 18 months ago:

Jenrick was Minister of State for Immigration when it happened, you might have thought he paid a tiny bit of attention to what's happening in the world, but apparently not.

He's the fella that bought the asbestos riddled site a couple of years ago.

Enough said like :D

There's a petition with over 2 million signatures calling for a general election:

Which is nice. Not sure it's going to get the response the folk entering responses want

7.5 million signed a petition to revoke Art 50.
Nothing happened.

Difference is this has Farage, Reform, Musk, GBeebies and Tiktok all trying to make out that the petition means there has to be a GE.

Labour majority says it won't happen for 4 years and 7 months. But like the US, people actually think if they scream and scream they are entitled to whatever they want.

NEW / EXCL - breaking on #bbcnewsten and News online … Vauxhall owner Stellantis tells Government to renegotiate Brexit deal signed by Boris Johnson as it confirms for first time its UK electric car exports will not qualify for TCA from January as wont meet origin requirements.

World's 4th largest car manufacturer says change your EU deal or we're off

You can only laugh at this stage.
They weren't joking.
The Prime Minister's response at the time:
"I voted for Brexit, I believe in Brexit,"

Luton plant closing, Ellesmere Port is threatened.

Luton: Leave 56.5%, Remain 43.5%
Cheshire West: Leave 50.7%, Remain 49.3%

Ford is also cutting 800 jobs in the UK (following on from 1,300 last year), mostly at Dunton near Basildon and Daventry
