You seem to think of politics in terms of policy only. Brexit proved that, especially in Britain, politics is largely heart over head. No one should have ever voted for Brexit on policy, 100 Bill a year it's costing them - yet the overarching concern for this tory leadership contest is who is the most Brexiteer?

Starmer is a liability. Posted many times, intelligent, articulate, across his brief, public service vocation.......but woeful at politics. His own internal survey said he was boring - to his own party.

Did you not hear the news, he tried to table a motion today, yes and you guessed it, it also was against a 78 seat majority. I get you have tied yourself to the Starmer mast and won't change from that but he is a very poor opposition leader. Shur he talks a good game but hasn't the stones for the job.

Difference now is that Boris has lost 50 Ministers and most M.P.'s who are slating Boris publically.

The Tories refused the VONC which is against precedent.

Labour win either was as opposition M.P.s would not have the courage of their convictions after last week and the Yories wanted to avoud that which indicates total cowardice and Labour did not lose a vote.

Rayner does not have broad appeal to voters outside her base as is only useful as an attack dog. A female Willie O'Dea.

Next year the Tories will have been power for 13 years and a huge series of crisis coming up in the Autumn.
