Then say that.
38% of those polled last month in Israel dont support resumed fighting in Gaza.
The repeated smears of the most high profile Jewish Irish figure in Ireland , despite them being debunked I guess show there's no antisemitism problem in this country.
Lad I couldn't give a shit if someone is Jewish or has three dicks.
I'm more concerned about actions.
What Israel does, and what the US is doing, amounts to war crimes, Trump isn't a real Christian, but he's happy to wear that mask for votes, him bombing water treatment facilities makes him a cunt, but that has nothing to do with his religion. Israel carrying out genocide makes them cunts, an Israeli observing their religion is absolutely fine, so long as it doesn't harm anyone else.
Israel runs an apartheid state, regularly ignores international laws, is under investigation for war crimes amounting to Genocide.
They don't uphold the same values we claim to have in Europe, people regularly point at Iran, and their human rights violations, but Isreal has an awful lot of that going on too.
I should be able to say: "Alan Shatter is a shill for Israel, he says illegal settlements are bad(obviously), but doesn't criticise them on actual war crimes, he can't look at Israel's behaviour objectively, because he's been raised to think it's an perfect state."
What isn't okay, would be to say: "Alan Shatter is running a Global Jewish Cabal, where they harvest organs" That would be slanderous and antisemitic, and completely unfair.
When one headbanger says something antisemitic about Alan Shatter, it doesn't mean that is the broad opinion of the left, or of reasonable people with brains, so throwing it up as a defence isn't a reasonable argument either.
Finally, how big a problem was antisemitism before October 7th?
Do you think this has more to do with their treatment of Palestinians, the slaughter of thousands of innocent children, women, defenceless and abused people, than being Jewish?
