James McClean Twitter death threats

A good friend of mine is from Creggan and is very quick to sing McLean's praise for his work in the local community. Never shy about reaching into his pocket for a good cause and gives up as much of his time as he can to speak at sports clubs and schools. A good egg all round by all accounts.
I'm in Creggan every week.

Scored two magical goals there last night... no mural for me. A disgrace.

But yes. He's really well regarded in the area. I was chatting with his old head teacher recently who is as proud of the man James is as the career he's carved out.

Had a look on Twitter. Could't find anything.

What's the rough gist of the story?
Derry twins who recently lost their daddy had an extra special birthday celebration today.
Adam and Aoife Burke's daddy, Thomas, died in April of a heart attack at the age of only 29.
Despite the ongoing heartbreak, the twins's mother, Bronagh, was determined that their 4th birthday today would be a special day.

Several weeks ago, an appeal was launched for people to send birthday cards to the twins.
The appeal was a huge success and when Adam and Aoife woke up this morning, they had more than 3,000 cards to open.
Tucked away in the pile were cards from Stoke City footballer James McClean and his wife Erin.
When the twins opened the cards, they found tickets for a dream trip to Disneyland.

He was a coach at Trojans, a local club in Creggan. I think that's where McClean started.

Fair play to the fella, that’s a really decent thing to do ?

James has had another decent season with Wrexham,He is in the tricky situation that if they get promoted he is unlikely to be kept on next season.
