Jackie Lennox’s gone bang

Restaurant business is a hard game to be in. Long hours, high cash flow and it's dependent on a very very fickle clientele.

Good on them for lasting as long as they did. I'm sure they eventually took professional advice and realised that they can make a lot more money with a lot less stress, with their premises.
The customers who frequent chippers regularly are anything but fickle tbf.

We're not talking fine dining here.

I saw a wattsapp of the letter sent to staff, It mentioned they only resumed trading in July, Does this mean we could see a redundancy dispute?
I presumed that was when Mark Couch gave up the lease and the lennox's came back.

I would guess they flahed him on the lease and he found himself working much harder with not much extra to show for it.

They are too old at this point i'd say

But chippers have become expensive and the days of fellas like Rox having a skinful and falling into the chipper and emptying they/their wallet are long gone. Spoons are probably cheaper than the average chipper these days and a fella can have a few cheap gatts as well.
