They had invested millions in their proxies in Lebanon providing them with 10s of thousands of missiles aimed at Israel. In a few weeks Israel have decapitated and destroyed Hezbollah. Hezbollah have now abandoned the Palestinians in Gaza and Iran can only make noises and throw shapes while they are reduced to impotency while Israel reconfigures the power structures in the middle east.

What did they get for all their trouble? They are isolated their PM is wanted by the ICC for war crimes & no hostages. Not to mention European countries recognizing Palestine. So much winning.
