Isn’t that just great. Two lads just got on the train wearing shite tracksuits and are now yapping away about some pointless shite.

And the weeping and gnashing of teeth over the ending of trolley service because of covid, I've always known it was overpriced shite and have never missed it. But fools wanted their tepid tea in a paper cup and a Twix at an extortionate price. The tea is bad too. Maybe the use toilet water or something but I’ve never tasted a combination of boiling water and a Barry’s teabag as bad as what you’d get on the train. AND IT’S €3.50!!!!
My thoughts entirely. I for one can wait until I get home to have tea and I certainly don’t need a danish that tastes like it’s a week out of date. And the weeping and gnashing of teeth over the ending of trolley service because of covid, I've always known it was overpriced shite and have never missed it. I think it is more that they have no incentive for it to succeed. I assume they get paid either way, and that if the trolley service stops running they will be redeployed to another role. The last time I got the train to Dublin the trolley service only began in Portloaise.
By the time it reached our carriage it was about 20 mins to Hueston. He then ignored 2 or 3 people who wanted something and drove on.
It's as if they want the service to fail.
I have to say that’s not my experience. I get the train to Dublin weekly and the trolley is very visible and the staff helpful. I do notice not too many offer something from the trolley however. Cheaper to buy something in the station. The last time I got the train to Dublin the trolley service only began in Portloaise.
