Ireland ranks with the likes of Scandinavian countries & New Zealand when it comes to quality of life. Our big issue is homelessness and when people see that Irish citizens can't get homes they start thinking why should foreigners get them.

Great country, really good paying jobs all over the country, it has it's issues like over the top welfare system which is rewarding leaches and not supporting those in actual need. Example? Single mother of 7 from 4 different fathers, that never ever worked, sleeping in a Garda station getting a "forever home", while people who have kids with autism, or kids that are struggling with mental health don't have any support. If, and ever, welfare system gets it's overhaul it will be absolute heaven on earth. You can't avail of social welfare until you have 10 years of tax contribution, full stop.
