Intermediate A Hurling Championship 2025

The county board knew about the weather warning early in the week and should have put a plan in place to get the two games played by Sunday night, Aghabullogue v Bandon should have been notified that due to weather warning there's a possibility the game may have to be played at 3pm Saturday and a decision will be made by 10pm Friday night and it may be moved to pairc I Rinn.
Could easily have played the Rovers v Castleloyns match Sunday night at 7pm in pairc I chaoimh after the Premier senior final. Making a decision Saturday morning to bring both matches back 2 hours and then back another half hour really showed how clueless they are & calling them off at 2pm was worse with teams and supporters on the way to the stadium, It's not as if it's the first time they've had to deal with situations like this.

Absolutely. I’d forgive them if they weren’t full time publicly funded resources who are making the decisions.

Is it though? Didn't Bandon refuse to play the game on the Sunday night, the day after the original game was called off?
I heard that also. Think this break can only benefit aghabullouge though. Bandon will more than likely be cold as can’t see where they’d get an game with intensity inbetween and the men from coachford playing championship football will most definitely be up for it mentally and physically.

Bandon have been treated disgracefully. Been left in limbo isn't good enough for a co final, a game they have been training all year for

I don't know if there's much else the county board could do? It was the right call to postpone initially with an orange rain warning. Bandon refused the Sunday evening and with munster deadlines for Munster football I don't see where it could have fitted in.
