There are a few smaller acts announced too that might be to your taste? Not a great start in my opinion. Personally , none of that is to my taste.
They do try to mix it up a bit with the line-ups. At least the ones I was at anyway. But the as with most festivals these days the bulk of the punters are going to be made up of casual radio listening music fans. And there's never been a worse time to be listening to Irish radio and the muck that's been pushed by PR companies. I always had a great time at Indie, but anything that was really good and worth seeing was usually poorly attended, while the likes of Bressie and The Coronas( christ I fucking despise this band) had thousands in attendance. The people the run music in Ireland have a lot to answer for.Yeah, we’ll see . Are those the main headliners ?
Kinda seems like that festival hasn’t really found it’s identity.
Yeah, I remember looking in despair at a full tent for Hudson fucking Taylor one year. They do try to mix it up a bit with the line-ups. At least the ones I was at anyway. Sigrid announced for Walsh's bar in Mitchelstown as part of the indiependence Autumn air series.
Not my cup of tea personally, but it is a great booking!
