They have basic shelter, they were moved to City West because of the recent cold snap. That ended two days ago and they were sent back to their original accommodation.

Detention centres once the EU rule on it.

Yeah, they are called detention centres in Canada too, but they are basically prisons, asylum seekers are not just walking the streets as they please

Genuine cases won't be there long but at least it's safer and better than the war thorn country they came from and things would be looking up for them

If it's EU policy that is exactly what will happen just like Australia and Canada.

A detention centre is not a 'concentration camp'.

It's preferable to the current demented practice of the state contracting a third of beds outside the Capital.

Women and children should not be locked up against their will for doing nothing wrong. This is not the United States.

Also, people have spent years in direct provision so that contradicts your argument that genuine cases won’t be there long.
