It doesn't want to be a normal news outlet in the way the Examiner (for example) is.
The latter has an anti church bias which they don't try to hide in their choice of columnists, that aside, they're capable of providing unbiased news reporting on church related matters too, such as the election of the new pope.
Gript.ie's biases influence all it's news coverage, from immigration to the environment.
Do they even reporting on crimes not involving foreigners? I doubt it.
I suspect dark money is backing Gript.ie btw.
They're output aligns too closely to US right wing "think tanks" to be coincidental.
