What we do know about them is they wanted to bring kids from a war torn region to another country for a while to play sport. Seems like a pretty good deed for me.

Wouldn't be the most plausible of ideas though would it?

Imagine bringing a few kids from the holocaust over to Ireland for a week to play sports, and then sending them back afterwards?

Surely Chernobyl is totally different. That was a one off event.

If we sent them back into that, we weren't sending them back into another unexpected and unprecedented nuclear accident.
