Immigration Thread

When I say that?
i love them. How could you hate a people that has given the world Van Morrison, Liam Neeson, Johnny Mad Dog Adair, Lenny Murphy, Jarry Adams, McGuiness, The reverend Ian Paisley?

I'm a native, from a working class background.

The people who fuck the working class, more than anyone else, are the working class.
Bitching about the buggy the other person got, or the bus pass, or the Nigerian who left a brand new pram on the bus, etc.

Usual divisive tactics proliferated by tabloids 30 years ago, are spread on twitter, facebook and youtube today, and if you're too stupid to see through it, then I can't help you.

The route out of poverty, has always been the same, it's education, get yourself educated in an area with some demand, and you'll do fine in this country, or any other country.

Or you can keep posting racist shite on here, and stay miserable.

Ballymena is an utter shithole, it's full of racist yokels, looking for any excuse to have a riot.

They don't give a shit about the girl who was attacked, if they cared about protecting women from predators they would have burned down Jeffrey Donaldsons home.

The north is unbelievably white, it's like 1980's Ireland, the people in the town are there to work, or because the UK government has put them there.
You often question the legitimacy of the asylum seekers, but I'd honestly fancy my chances in the Ukraine over a stint in Ballymena.
Superb post. Nailed it.

While I'd be reluctant to tar any town or area with a broad stroke, you have a point unfortunately. I have friends in Ballymena (protestant/unionist, lovely people), we stayed there a few times in their house, not recently. There's a cohort of working class scum, almost exclusively of the loyalist persuasion. Lack of education, willful ignorance, chip on shoulder, the taigs and foreigners get everything, yada yada.

Portadown is the same, Lurgan, etc.
Was working in Lurgan a number of years ago a few days after the 12th, passed that church that the Orange lads wanted to march past.
The glowing embers of the 12th bonfire ware still a meter high.
It's their culture - flutes, drums and pallet fires.
The bonfire was in the middle of a nice green area surrounded by houses, so they were fucking their own area up.

That's not fair.
