Just on the death threats, they should absolutely be taken seriously and those behind them punish.

Deputies Murphy and Coppinger have played their own role in demonising those who disagree with them and inflaming tensions. It’s not nice that they are now victims of nutjobs but they’ve contributed to a climate of hatred and division in public life. They should reflect on their rhetoric.

Did you actually read the article? It doesn't even remotely do that. It recounts what happened. She refused to answer a question from a Gript "journalist", and she received death threats after Conrad McTapcaine made a song and dance about it on Twitter.

It's a terrible reflection on Gript's readership - with the death threats, and to a lesser extent, your post.

Can we see some of these death threats? The last lefty I heard claiming they had received death threats did so after receiving a message asking him about a photo of himself outside the Dail promoting the hate speech bill, just a question asking was it him. He perceived this as a death threat!!

So we've gone from querying why deth threats made by the looney left aren't reported, to questioning whether these death threats even occurred on the basis of... something?

To summarise, between yourself and the other fella, the line being taken is fuck the media for blaming Gript (didn't happen), death threats made by the left aren't reported (without giving examples of death threats made by the left, or who the were directed at to make them news worthy), to questioning whether the threats were made to RC at all.

And not a single acknowledgement that maybe people shouldn't be threatening politicians.
