If de lunee left's death threats go unreported, I'd venture a guess it's because they're not aimed at sitting politicians, if they happen at all (which I'm sure they do, but definitely not at the same frequency or of the same seriousness).

She refused to answer a question from a Gript "journalist", and she received death threats after Conrad McTapcaine made a song and dance about it on Twitter.

To summarise, between yourself and the other fella, the line being taken is fuck the media for blaming Gript (didn't happen), death threats made by the left aren't reported (without giving examples of death threats made by the left, or who the were directed at to make them news worthy), to questioning whether the threats were made to RC at all.
And not a single acknowledgement that maybe people shouldn't be threatening politicians.
