Our government are so considerate for their citizens. I see our media like the one above gladly accepted a 6 million pay off to play along with their propaganda. The only one to refuse was ........ GRIPT!!!!!!. They said they would rather remain independent. Fair play to them ,hard to refuse a bribe like that.

We celebrate Easter. But who is we? This week it became public that children with an Islamic faith make up the majority at Viennese elementary and middle schools with 41 percent. "Without denomination" are 23 percent, Roman Catholic 17, all Christian religions together 34.5 percent (or 38.3 percent, if you include the Catholic private schools). The previous majority society is becoming a minority.

Everyone here said the thread of the Far Right was a construct of the media and incompetent politicians.

Cranks like Blighe have no popular support. The election proved that

Look if they did have a United front which they don’t and an articulate leader who could gel them together it wouldn’t be beyond reasonable that they could be competitive in a handful of constituencies and even get a TD or two.

Whatever happened in the last GE they did shift the political compass a degree or two more than people realize.

Thing is they were manna from Heaven for incompetent FFG as they sucked up some votes from SF and some SF voters just stayed at home as they expected Mary and co to take different stance on immigration and how it was affecting their communities.

The big unfortunate result of Blighe,Lahive etc is that these loons have sucked oxygen out of a rational immigration debate. People with genuine concerns to what is going on out there keep their gobs shut as they are then branded far right..No middle ground left in political debates these days…

Every major party is taking the same hard left position on everything from Immigration to women's rights.

Aontú are about the only party in the last election who didn't run on a platform of uncontrolled immigration.

I'd say the record low turnout was a fair indicator of how disconnected the main parties are from the electorate.


(They all bar Aontu pushed a yes vote in last March's insane referendum to remove 'women' from the constitution and it was defeated in all bar one constitutency lol).
