If you could vote on the next statue in Cork..

I nominated him as I think he is undoubtedly the most entertaining commentator on Cork GAA that I have ever read - so good he is now being quoted in the mainstream print media i.e. The Evening Echo. Youghallie = a living legend!

Mind you, you're not too far behind him yourself. I find the spats between himself and yourself to be absolutely hilarious. Keep posting and maybe we'll have a statue made of you too in time.

What are the Echo printing about me!

No bother lads. Was the Bishop a grear bowler lads? Would he have been one of the best?

He was up there as a bowler and if for no other reason he is a fan of all sports involving Cork teams and would always try and support the rebels be it Hurling, Basketball or Snakes and Ladders.

And he's an uncle to JBMs wife! He's a shoe in for a statue

Paddy Barry (the goalkeeper from Saint Vincents) deserves a statue. That all ireland winning acceptance speech in 1970 was very moving such was the passion it was delivered with.

You nominated him because he's a sports fan? Sure we might as well give a nod to Cyril and Jonty while we're at it. And Popeye too.
