Had a walk around the Lough yesterday morning about 8AM.

Birds were eating out of discarded chip paper and Chinese food. Bottles of vodka and cans everywhere. And there were workers picking them up.

Was probably in a worse state before I got there.

With a 4 million euro shortfall expected in cork city council budget there
will be less workers out doing this work, People who discard masks and gloves
need a kick in the hole,

When this first came out , I thought it was a bit of a waste of time but now I see the logic in it.

Broken windows and all that !

Fermoy may be doing well for litter but it’s riddled with Co-Vid cases .

If that's the mentality of some of the mask wearers ..well what can I say.

Fermoy does well partly because IBAL is the brainchild of Tom Kavanagh of Cavanagh's Motors of Fermoy.

Having said that, it did look well the last few times I was back there.
