Brandy & Baileys is fairly hardcore alright. Essentially you're using a 17% liqueur as a mixer.

Myself and herself did a tour of Royal Oak distillery in Carlow a few years ago, and in the tasting at the end they gave us a 56% cask finished edition of The Irishman. Herself asked them if they had a splash of cola. Ffs.

i love paddy! my favourite whiskey of them all but it’s definitely not harsh. i recommended it to a swedish buddy at work and when he came in monday morning giving out that if he wanted something that sweet and strong he’d have bought some rum
