How many times have you been seriously sexually assaulted?
There's often been talk on this here The PROC about the supposedly makey uppy stats of people who say they've been sexually assaulted. How the questions are leading and any aul bum pinch could be a sexual assault. So let's not go that direction. I'm talking the level of sexual assault where it ranges from turning your stomach to think about it, at least whenever it gets lodges in your brain and your anxiety goes up, or you get angry, at the low level, through sleepless nights, along by afraid to leave the house and be around people, dreading running into people and situations who remind you of it, to stuff you can't even begin to understand, has kept you awake for decades and has altered your life fundamentally. Poll results are set so your login name won't be revealed.
For all the "Cork is Gone to the Dogs" about violence there's very little about the damage done by sexual assault, and if there is talk about it's anger someone could even bring up the idea they've been sexually assaulted.
