I blame Love Island for this. It's got all these 21 year olds with a rake of plastic surgery and theres teenagers watching it thinking that's how people are supposed to look. It's unrealistic to expect perfection

If you're not spoofing m8 you need to immediately go to a doctor. Thats a major symptom of esophageal cancer. It was the first symptom my dad got after years of indigestion which he treated with rennies.

That's very much a worst case scenario and hearing that could scare a fella away from getting a proper diagnosis which could save his life.

Difficulty swallowing is a red light but doesn't automatically mean the person has cancer and it could be treatable.

Dont listen to the online experts here Jerny m8. just go to the gp and hopefully its just an infection treatable with antibiotics. putting yourself through undue stress and worry over whats likely nothing is tapped.

I do all of the above minus the Benzos and Im grand like.
It could be just irritation at the moment or pre cancerous like Barrett esophagus, even if it was cancer it could be easily treated with keyhole surgery. The advances have been amazing in recovery from this type in recent years.
One thing's for certain is you need to be put on a PPI and you need an endoscopy which I get every 5 years in and out in the same day.
It's actually not that bad m8.
Get off your hole and visit a GP.

Look that was me not so long ago. It's probably treatable through diet even. Don't buy the grave plot yet and get it checked, no pressure either
