House prices

Alot in the press today about prices shooting up in Dublin , RTE says 13% increase in 12 months Indo says 17% .
This time there is so much information about the market online that the estate agents cant bullshit anyone . People are more savvy too after the crash .
I think its up to the banks to put the brakes on if things get out of hand .
Dublin could rise by 20% for 2013 .

This was bound to happen the typical demand exceeds supply scenario. This will continue rising until we have a functioning banking system that gives out mortgages to customers.
There is no developer in his right mind that will build a housing estate again until the banks are functioning.

This person thinks that more mortgages will lead to lower prices.
With this kind of economic savvy you must be Brian Cowen.

The days of cheap house prices are now numbered, it is a rising tide. Are you familiar with the supply/ demand scheme of things?

What would you suggest?
