The language, the history, the public transport and its a great place for city break. Sun holidays are boring for me.

We're heading there this year.

Looking forward to it. They definitely don't have the same tourism infrastructure as france. You're pretty much guaranteed a great family holiday there with the campsites.

The Gerrys seem to be more into hard core camping up the side of a mountain.

We spent a week in the back forest 10 years ago and are going back.it's great because it's setup for hiking and mountain biking in summer and XC skiing in winter, loads of little trails between lovely scenic villages all linked by train which is paid for the duration of your stay with a tourist tax.

Careful of the ticks is the only thing. Lyme disease is not great

Was planning on going to Germany in the autumn but that’s in tatters. One of the girls on my team is getting married and I’m invited.

I’m sure the girl you work with it is lovely and all but could you not politely decline based on the fact that you have holidays booked and paid for on that date?

The last people I’d ever invite to a wedding is work colleagues, they wouldn’t come either

I'd like to go back to Amsterdam again. This time alone to see the flowers and art. No smoking either. Cake or tea maybe

Amsterdam is a great city I lived there for a spell many years ago.

I used go back a lot but in recent years the price of accommodation which is less than basic has made it difficult, so much money for absolutely kips.

I don’t mind spending the money but there needs to be some bit of value in it

Haarlem and Utrecht are equally as nice and a bit less expensive
