Hitman died in crash on the way for a Hit ,European passport but originally from South America.

Driver fled the from crash, gun and ammunition found in car , rumour is the Hit was in Brosna in kerry.

I met Bret "The Hitman" Hart in The Long Valley a few years ago. He was either just about to give a talk in Cyprus Avenue or had just done one, can't remember now.

Sat up at the bar on his own, he had a big oul glass of whiskey in front of him.

"Excuse me" I said to him "my kid brother is massive fan of yours. Would you mind doing an autograph for him?"

Hart looked up from his whiskey and said "I just want to have my drink. I'm not doing that".

"No bother" said I and went back to the group at my table. Fair is fair like. The man was enjoying a meditative beverage.

A few minutes later Hart wandered over to our group;

"Hey, man" he said "I'm sawh-ry about dott, eh" - he's Canadian - "I was in my own thoughts. I'll do an autograph for sure. What's the little guy's name, eh?"

I pointed at my brother who was taking a swig out of his Beamish across the table from me.

"He's there, lah!"

"I thought you said your kid brother? That dude is, conservatively speaking, at least 35 years old."

"Yeah" said I "and I'm 3 years older than him."
