high fare rapists

Murder-Slaughter-Rape

All pretty much equivalent crimes in the general view - each with major trauma for those affected - directly and indirectly.

If O’Leary had said “Lufthansa are murdering their customers on price” or “KLM are slaughtering their passengers with their high fares”, nobody would have batted an eyelid.
So, people are choosing to be offended by one word and not the others - which they are absolutely entitled to do - but that’s not O’Learys problem. I wouldn’t have said it the way he did, but he should ignore the outcry and drive on.

I've no time for MOL but the shrill reaction and demands for an apology are ludicrous and his refusal to bow down to them is admirable.

He's not the first to use the term in this inappropriate way either tbf.

It should be obvious to anyone with a brain cell that he was making a point about ticket pricing and not trivialising rape.
If he had said they were "crucifying" the customer, there would be no offence seen. Blackwell and all these types have to earn their corn.

I'd murder a curry chips.

Nobody would have any issue with that.

But if I said I'd rape a curry chips? Questions would be asked.

It was a bad choice of words and shouldn't have said it but the reaction is completely OTT.

Simon Harris giving him a dressing down on news but will have the red carpet out for an actual rapist Trump next week.
Yep, he shouldnt have said it, but we're all discussing it, and that's exactly what he.wanted. He doesn't say anything by accident.

Was watching a British wrestling clip from the 1980s the other night and there was some bloke from Stockport pretending to be a Nazi.

There were people in that audience who had definitely seen the horrors of WW2 and the actual Nazi's, and there was no one getting offended. Maybe because they knew the guy was playing a character.

Now imagine someone trying that today.

He knew exactly what he was doing, everyone talking about it, all free advertising.

I suppose all the people giving out will never fly Ryanair again on account of it? Yeah right.
I've spoken to myself that I would never fly with them again a few times. Then when you want to go somewhere and check the prices.....

There's a big difference between a wrestler playing a comedy nazi and the CEO of a major company shooting his mouth off.

I've disliked O'Leary bigtime ever since the case of the woman who, pre MOL, won free flights for life with Ryanair and who was basically told to fuck off by him when she queried why it wasn't being honored anymore. There's a mean spirited nature to the guy that goes beyond "saying it like it is".

How many women will stop taking Ryan Air flights because of this? That the only way of getting to him because all this shit is just free publicity.
The answer is close to fuck all by the way.
People love getting outraged and venting on the radio about how disgusting it all is but 99% of them will still book the cheapest flight.
It's one of the things that most disgusts me about the modern world. It's all virtue signaling and bullying those who cant do anything, a bit like old Ireland would shame the neighbours into conformity and silence.. The big lads like MOL dont give a fuck and will thankfully take all the outrage as free publicity.

Why aren't Ryanair honouring the free flights and what's their excuse?
