The diving and fucking around in that game last night was shameful, and the ref bought every bit of it. No doubt same thing vs Portugal and half missing then like you say

Robbie always got a lot of stick for his goals against "lesser" teams but we could definitely use some of that now

I agree, Parrott brought alot of enthusiasm onto the pitch when he came.

I'd start 3 central defenders as we have an abundance of quality central defenders. We're missing a quality left sided midfielder and a quality central midfielder. Mikey Johnson is good going forward but not sure about his defending. Molomby was an improvement in central midfield. Maybe Kasey McAteer, Ogbene or Festy could do an improvised job on the left side of midfield

Definitely. It looks like Ferguson could take up that mantle now. Will get criticism for performances but looks like he could fire in a lot too even when not playing well. Beggars can't be choosers. As also said above need to get Parrott in with him too.

yeah we are weak down the left - manning has done ok recently but suspended for the portugal game. we didn't know how lucky we were to have kilbane! nothing really coming through from the u21s either in that position. maybe rocco vata for the left wing slot?

sean roughan (at left back) has looked ok when i've seen him, moved from lincoln to huddersfield which is a bit of a sideways move, both league one.

doesn't sound like robbie brady will be back on time for the november games but fingers crossed. i wouldn't exclude the possibility of a james mcclean recall...
