Have you had Covid?

Our whole house got it a few months back. I’ve never had a headache so bad. 48 hrs without any let up. Kept me awake all night. Other than that I wasn’t too bad.

I was wrecked tired for the week though. I’d sleep on the couch for a couple of hours and after waking I’d want to sleep again 20 mins later. Never had an illness like it.

I had a right dose of the flu a few years ago and for me that was far worse. I felt like I was fecking dying for the first couple of days.

Same symptoms my brother had two weeks back. Add in waking up thinking he’d been ask for a few hours but actually slept fourteen.

Had it-no symptoms-would not know that I had it but for a test that I had to do. Was vaccinated so obviously the vaccine did its job!

Was the vaccine to prevent you getting it, or to prevent you developing the symptoms but not protect you against actually getting it?

I think i had it when it first came out. Think i got it on the plane back home. Didnt bother to check or confirm if it was. Just rode it out. Felt weak as fuck and my appetite dissapeared. Didnt eat for 15 days and dropped 6 or 7 kgs in weight. Pretty sure it was covid as i got it in August. I only ever got flu up to then in the winter months.
