Have you had Covid?

My doctor thinks I had it in late November 2019. At the time there was some sort of Covid like illness in the area (this was before it was identified as an epidemic). The death rate started to go up. (Later, when the tests first came out for the elderly, a lot of local old people who were sick in that way in the last two months of that year showed that they had had Covid). I came down with the classic symptoms and have had a problem with a cough and runny nose ever since. My doctor checked me thoroughly at my last two physicals and this is what he said probably happened.

had it in Sept 20. So probably the original. The Variants came after that I think. Wasnt sick, bit of a tickly cough but that was it. 10 days of boredom really.

Had double 'pneumonia, around November 2019, couldn't shake it even with two courses of antibiotics.
Covid never touched me when it appeared, made me wonder.

I had da omicron. Mild, thankfully... Sinus-eY for 2 days, then a runny nose for a week.
Bit of a cough. Didn't need to take a day off work.

I've had probably 10 PCR tests over the last 18 months, mostly travel related.

Been lucky so far .my daughter got it fairly early into the pandemic but not the new version , Have had a worse then usual cold since last Thursday and the Mrs had it the week before I did but we both have done a couple of antigen tests and came back negative.

Currently on day 9 of omicron and whilst it was mostly like a cold I definitely still have brain fog and a bit of fatigue.
Surprising too I did an antigen yesterday on day 8 and got a positive result which I wasn’t expecting to see.
Although it was mild I’m glad I was vaxxed and boosted for it.

No. Had a bit of a cold last week, but the test came back negative.

Other than that, I've sailed through the pandemic without a thing.

Unlike some on here though, I dont think it's due to any genius on my part. Just pure dumb luck.

+1

Think luck will run out and current version will get us all at some stage before summer. Have youngster in creche which are perfect breeding grounds for any feckin' virus, bacteria, bug etc that can be passed between two humans.
Few outbreaks there already but only one case in his room and parents acted quickly tbf - keeping little one at home from first sign of symptoms. Clock is ticking though!!

Vaxed and boosted so hopefully just a mild dose too if (when) it comes!! Been down the cancer-chemo road already few years back so f**k it. Would hate to lose taste/smell for prolonged period mind you. Friend in London has had messed up senses for 12 months and counting!!

Two weeks ago I had a nasty headache at work, couldn't deal with people, and I'm not one who suffers from headaches. Had to head home early, felt feverish and fatigued in the car and a bit dizzy too. When I got home I shat my brains out, not so much like diarrhoea, but more like a thick soup with hard balls of shit the size of butter beans in it. Now, everything I had eaten in the last two days, herself had eaten too and she was perfectly fine. The ol doll couldn't find the thermometer so I sent her to the pharmacy to get a new one. When she got back and took my temperature, I was at 37.1. Took 2 paracetamol and went to bed, headache didn't clear and still had a slight fever. Had a couple of hot ones and another 2 paracetamols, finally fell asleep. Next day I was still fairly fatigued but no fever, decided to take the next day off. Taking to lads latter online from work and 3 tested positive for covid so I took the rest of the week off with the blessing of my partner.

Thankfully I didn't end up in ICU with the headache :)

Had Omicron as did my wife and the little fella, nothing worse than a cough and tiredness. Problems with my back and that was a lot worse for 2 days.

Know a few people who have had it and the antigen only showed up positive on the 2nd day of symptoms.
