Harty Cup returns tomorrow with 6 Cork teams represented. St Colmans Fermoy, Midleton CBS, CBC, St Francis College Rochestown, Gaelcholáiste Mhuire an Mhainistir Thuaigh and Pobail Scoil na Tríonóide Youghal Two all Cork clashes tomorrow. St Colmans v Midleton CBS in Watergrasshill at 1:30 Christian Brothers College, Cork v Gaelcholáiste Mhuire an Mhainistir Thuaigh in Castle Road at 1:30 The other Cork sides fixtures are: Pobail Scoil Na Tríonóide, Youghal v Our Ladys Templemore in Cahir at 1:30 Thurles C.B.S v St. Francis College Rochestown in Mitchelstown at 1:30 The major positive is that there are 6 Cork teams involved. Youghal and Rochestown making the step up to Harty for the first time in a while. I would imagine Midleton will be the strongest of the Cork sides with a lot of the Cork Minor winning team of 2021 still to call on. Will be interesting to see who will win between themselves and Colmans. Hopefully we'll see the Harty Cup return back to Cork for the first time since 2019. Cork's record in the Harty over the last 20 years has been woeful so a Harty Cup coming back to Cork would be a major boost to Cork hurling.
