It quoted a section of an information sheet on the TENI website that said “suppressing puberty was irreversible” was among the “myths” put out on trans health.
The section said: “If someone changes their mind about taking hormone blockers and stops taking them, puberty will continue from where it was stopped. You may go through puberty at a quicker rate than you would have.”
Last Wednesday, the “TENI Lifehacks” information sheet on hormones containing the claims about puberty blockers was still available on the TENI websites
Earlier this month, TENI was announced as among the charities that will benefit from a distribution of funds from the Late Late Toy Show Appeal, with €15,000 awarded.
