Good music documentaries?

I am trying to break your heart - Wilco
Searching for the wrong-eyed jesus - Jim White
A Skin, A Night - The National
The Deveil and Daniel Johnson
Nor Direction Home - Martin Scorcese
Don't Look Back- DA Pennebaker
Man in the Sand - Billy Bragg/Wilco

Dig! (Brian Jonestown massacre)
The Future is Unwritten (Joe Strummer)
Quiet Loud Quiet (Pixies)
Luke (luke Kelly)
If I should Fall from Grace (Shane Macgowan)
Fearless Freaks (Flaming Lips)
Be Here to Love Me (Townes Van Zandt)

Though as far as it is possible to be from being a fan of the band the Metallica documentary is worth seeing.

also agree with the Wilco film and Dig as being amongst the best and add the Ramones ~End of the Century in the mix.

Saw Anvil! a few weeks ago. It's well worth checking out, hilarious and touching in equal parts. It doesn't matter if you like metal or not, go see it.

I'd second End Of the Century too, maybe my favourite music Doc.

Can't wait to see the Anvil one.
Dig! is amazing altogether - footage from the very beginnings of both bands.
Megadeth Behind The Music is highly entertaining and VH1's style suits the band down to the ground.
Jandek On Corwood is a great watch too.
Derailroaded is another great one, about Larry 'Wild Man' Fischer - fairly weird outsider fella that Zappa 'discovered'.
The Metallica one is very funny altogether - Some Kinda Monster. Poor, poor Metallica. They'll never live that one down.
