I'm assuming that if you're looking to buy a car registered in Ireland then you're living here?

In which case could you not just go to Cork and buy the car there?

Even if you're living in feckin Malin Head, you can be in Finbar Galvin Motors in Macroom in 6hrs and 48 minutes. You'd be down and back to Donegal with your new C Reg car within the day.

And you'd have supported the local Macroom economy and a local business rather than spending the money up in Donegal.

Out of curiosity, would there be many car dealerships around your part of Donegal? They'll find it tough with Brexit, they're very exposed. I hope you've a plan in place, you're very close to the border there.
