Born and bred in Cork but from my experience of other counties the grass is much greener, especially in a neighbouring county.
I think you need to visit other countries not counties to experience a significantly different standard of living.It’s not just monetary terms either.

Exactly this morning it was early I saw countries then reread it counties. Makes absolutely no sense. Shite bus service in Kerry and Leitrim and Wexford etc etc. maybe comparing ireland with Portugal or Austria might make a bit of sense. In the end the moaners will always moan, the others get on with life and make a go of it no matter where they are.If you can make it in Millstreet you can make it anywhere.
