Was in town earlier and a scobe was making a nuisance of himself - absolutely out of it and wouldn’t move on from people collecting for charity.
Eventually some woman called the Gardai who had two arrive within 10 minutes. Another 10 mins and a cop car arrived and took him away.
4 Gardai might’ve been a bit ott but it’s the first scobe I’ve seen in town in a week, and the first arrest on Cork streets that I’ve seen in about 10 years.
It’s like being abroad the number of plod out and about patrolling the streets - and it’s brilliant.
