Gardai

Era Fuck off Souundy. it was a warning for a minor infraction which helps everyone to remember to stop cutting corners.

She was at the cross at the end of summer hill north so I'm sure she had similar words with motorists turning right illegally onto McCurtain street or nipping into a yellow box or being on their phones.
Out of all of those offences you mentioned cyclists breaking red lights is the most common one.

Maybe. I would say yellow box infractions by motorists would be far more common.

Not that it matters. If you want to bitch about cyclists take it to the cyclists thread.

The point is that the Gardai deserve some credit. I'd say it's miserable, cold and boring being on one of those high visibility beats where you see a lot if the same faces giving you abuse.

They deserve huge credit and support and to know that it works even if it feels like to them it's not working

The cyclist broke the lights at an extremely busy junction where traffic moves in a number of different directions. And did so despite the presence of a Garda

Stop trying to deflect to motorists 🙄

The Garda (check the title of this thread) pulled up the cyclist for not obeying the law.

It seems the Lycra is restricting the blood flow to your brain if you can’t see that.

No real surprise that your first reaction to someone pointing out the bad actions of a cyclist here was to indulge in abuse. It’s a pattern on the rise.

you are some fucking dose.

The wan last night was wearing Jeans, a coat and a wooly hat. she went up summer hill north on a green man so the garda.had a word with her. I'd say she was going about 3 mph. I would argue what she did was safe and helps traffic and motorists but the garda didn't. personnelly i would have preferred if the garda kept the bikes off the paths further up. Had all the cars parked on the path and in the bus stop towed or stopped the young fella giving his friend a spin on his e scooter but its a start.

What is your thing with Lycra? do you have issues with people wearing sport appropriate clothing. Would you rather fellas wore wooly jumpers and jeans to play a game of football?

Either way cyclists thread 👉

🤣Ye mamils just can’t help yerselves. She broke the law, was pulled on it by a GARDA whose presence she had felt she could ignore. Busted!

Saw a Garda, young fella, giving directions to some tourists down by Waterstones there the other day. Obviously one of the new guys in. On his own. Happy out to give directions and the tourists looked delighted to have someone to ask. Pity about their fashion sense. Fucking Yanks!
