Gardai

This is a great initiative, an excellent deterrent for scum, something that has been missing for generations or most certainly since those liberal fucks got their grasp on AGS.

This means less resources can now deal with issues, if some scumbags are causing trouble and if the deterrent is not enough, then 1 single Garda can immobilise a toe rag, something that probably took 3 or 4 burly Gardai previously.
Their partner then can cuff the scum both can lift the parasite up and into the back of the squad car and off to the station.
Previously that would have been, a call for assistance by the 2 first Gardai on the scene, then another car and probably Paddy wagon arrive, in all probability 7 Gardai.
Then they have to deal with the parasite kicking and screaming trying to get it into the back of the wagon and more of the same upon arrival at the station

An excellent idea and a very indication that we now have a good man in charge of AGS.

We were posting the letter to Santy yesterday at the GPO. Some fella was off his nut on one of the stone bollards just next to.the big Santy.

He wasn't causing hassle but you wouldn't want to risk him waking up. I was delighted the Garda who had been up by BTs moved him on within about 2 mins.

There was another one patrolling McCurtain street and pulled a cyclist for skipping through lights on a Green man..

The High visibility policing Is very welcome.

There was a great atmosphere around town yesterday

Having a presence on the streets can't be overstated, scumbags have had the run of the city unchallenged for long enough.

A heavy presence on the streets will hopefully drive them back into the shadows.

Even when the Gardai are present the cyclists don’t want to have to obey the traffic lights - it’s their culture 😔

Era Fuck off Souundy. it was a warning for a minor infraction which helps everyone to remember to stop cutting corners.

She was at the cross at the end of summer hill north so I'm sure she had similar words with motorists turning right illegally onto McCurtain street or nipping into a yellow box or being on their phones.
