Public warned stone lifting can cause ‘archaeological damage’ as RTÉ airs documentary on tradition
The documentary follows David Keohan as he goes around the country finding and lifting Ireland’s ancient lifting stones.www.thejournal.ie
Ancient stones are fragile? They are in me hoop. How are we defining ancient? These bed wetters seem to think a couple of thousand years is ancient. Lower Carboniferous rocks, which make up more than half the country, are about 300,000,000 years old. Unless the rock is made of shale or something equally stupid to be using as a lifting stone, it's not falling apart because Jim Bob looked sideways at it.What a pile of miserable cunts who totally missed the point
