The vertigo story seems totally legit, yet this fella has been accused of being pissed in work and dragged through the media

Thought that as well, you don't often see people on the front page of newspapers straight after incident etc, usually investigation , due process. Unless him putting it in the open to defend himself made it fair game. Shit situation if he hasn't done anything wrong

Couple of things to consider.
It wasn’t a parent that reported him stumbling.
If I forgot my vertigo medication knowing exactly what it would cause I would go home to get it

The guy is well-regarded in the community as previously noted. A couple of people put two and two together and got five.

People sometimes forget their medication…that’s life. If someone’s suffering from dizziness or nausea as an effect of vertigo it would be pretty irresponsible to hop in the car and head home to get their medication.

There is a lot more to come out about this teacher yet.

Vertigo sounds like a legit reason. Had he posted proof of it, like a prescription or a letter from a GP it would be fully credible.

I know someone who knows him and he is well regarded so he said it does seem quite out of character.

I live in the community, I certainly wouldn’t say this man was well regarded as someone previously said. The exact opposite would be true. Has a pig ignorant attitude & most of the kids in the school fear him (not unusual for a principle I guess). This wouldn’t be the first time people have noticed him being worse for wear either & he has apparently featured online in some of these social media groups where people warn others of potential suitors to steer clear of for various reasons. Not saying all of the above is worth the witch hunt but certainly not well regarded in the locality. A transfer would be best for all parties I’d expect bar wherever he would go next (unless he changes attitude on the back of this)
