Gaelic in the Joy. - Pandering to the criminals

republican prisoners in portlaise had a gaeluc football team, they played matches v local clubs, all at home venue.
That was the time that Colm o Shea was incarcerated.
He was serving 40 years for killing a guard.
He refused for a time to get released under the Good Friday job but later took advantage of it and was released.
I haven't seen him for a while .

Prisoner who featured in Gaelic in Joy caught with drugs .
Some privileges might be taken away from him.
What is not charged in court.
Because for a small amount of drugs (which in prison it generally is) it wouldn't be worth the time it would take to process. What will a judge realistically do on a charge of one joint or a small amount of coke or whatever?

They can't give a harsher sentence than the would to someone else, so it would probably be a fine, which a prisoner will struggle to pay.

A loss of privileges is probably a better deterrent to be honest.
