The music in PUC had been really modernised during league games there for a while. Young people loved it. Come championship it's back to the regular muck. For Razzmatazz and general entertainment the GAA is lightyears behind

Completely disagree, it is all the razzmatazz that is killing sports events and it is self fulfilling.
If a large cohort of people go to a game for the entertainment, the worse the atmosphere, the greater need to jazz things up, the more non supporters attend, the worse the atmosphere becomes, the more the need to jazz it up etc etc
Nah, do places get it wrong sometimes yes absolutely.Completely disagree, it is all the razzmatazz that is killing sports events and it is self fulfilling.

The day a GAA experience looks anything like a UK soccer match day, or rugby match in the Aviva is the day the corporate experience has taken over and the real supporters lose out.
No pyrotechnics (this matters a pile to kids)
Only 20 years solid of them!erra thats too much of a generalisation. have you ever been to an irish game in the aviva? the atmosphere for the scotland game in march was fantastic. a lot of its down to the game and the form the team are in. in any code. yeah there was a great atmosphere down the pairc sunday but did you see the footage of mchale park. cork are lucky theyre drawing a savage crowd as theres a shot of an all ireland the last few years but that can change quickly.
The one thing that they do better than all other sports is keeping access to the players.Agree 100%!
I specifically don’t want that shite at GAA. I love my trips to the likes of Semple, it’s an entirely different experience to any other sport and that’s the point. GAA is tribal with scores being traded regularly, it has no need for the rogby ‘entertainment’ flame throwers to entertain people during the periods of nothingness
