And if hauliers and people working in agriculture didn’t get some temporary respite on fuel costs due a war in the Middle East who do you think would be paying those costs down the line.

You can argue the point all day and night but this comes down to trying to keep some measure of control on cost of living and it’s the right call,

You wanna talk about fiscal responsibility there are far far bigger fish to fry in this country at present but you have very little to say about those!

Of course , hauliers costs would be passed on to the consumer. People pretending not to get this are either dense or dishonest, take your pick.

That the same people see no issue with 2billion annually on IPAS to house people that the Taoiseach has described that 90% are not genuine cases is contempible.

Not surprising when you see the likes of FF VP Donie Cassidy making millions annually from his cash purchase of Barry's hotel and conversion into IPAS accomodation.

The whole business is rotten to the core and you have FF lickspittles on here arguing against measures to help valuable contributors to the Irish economy, ycnmiu.

I would imagine that farmers with a lot of land could make a killing from environmental incentives though.
