if they were an abject failure the usual idiots wouldn’t be still hot and bothered about it a week later …Jaysus were at the serious offense of intent to spread slurry now…Yer man with the slurry was about as dangerous now as Dougal on his milk float….its pretty funny so see some of the gang on here trying to maintain the protests werent a success. they achieved the delay in carbon taxes and a further cut in excise to diesel along with other cost saving schemes. the government lost the support of two tds and if the taoiseach doesnt go hes wounded to the point where he will be gone by the years end at best. they had public support and the next polls will show a dramatic fall in government support. fair play to all involved
Nothing like a globalist to try the old divide-and-'conquer tactic. In a way, he's playing the right card from a FG, and indeed FF, perspective. For all their mouth, rural voters, particularly farmers, are practically incapable of changing their vote, so his party might aa well appeal to the urban swing vote.
