The city would be very big for it to generate the atmosphere other towns have. Somewhere like Clon would be ideal though

I'm actually doing some classes with the local Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann group at the mo, as is my daughter.

Looks like it'll be some craic in Belfast next summer.

Depends how it is policed.

Had friends that went to Derry. Pubs closed on time, no extensions. People cleared off the streets early doors. Ushered back to campsites/hotels at an early hour. No late bars in the hotels.

All said it was the sh*ttest fleadh they'd ever been to. And they've been to lots of them.

Cork is a perfect size for it imo.

You've a SF council in Belfast, they'll pull out all the stops for this, and it's a great compact little city, takes ten minutes to stroll around it.
