Unlikely Mary I were ever going to win this. But where was the intensity. Seems to be an outdated concept these days but just maybe if they tried marking a few lads it might not have been a stroll in the park for UL.
As somebody said earlier, I've seen training sessions with more urgency.

People say Limerick are an ageing team but if you look between both teams tonight the likes of Colin Coughlan, Adam English, Cathal O Neill, Shane O Brein are serious hurlers that will be around a long time yet.

Matthew Fitzgerald who couldn't even play Fitz hurling because he's a fresher is a super hurler, could well be starting for Limerick this season, especially if Hayes isn't back. Has more potential than Coughlan in my opinion.

Hugh flanagan plays with the bouncers Garryspillane,part of 2 teams that were winners of premier intermediate A and u20 A championship in 2025 .step up for sure to senior county but young and promising so far.
