MTU four up at HT. Alan Walsh and Healy looking dangerous, their defence has been steady so far. UCC's big guns have been quiet enough. Little bit tame so far, but if it stays close it might liven up coming up to full-time.

MTU were good, they worked hard and done the simple things well, probably the worst UCC performance in history, the egos of some of their players really showed, no work rate or bottle, didn't look well for them at all, plus the management stood on the line and left players on that were very poor and never changed the way they were trying to play as it was clearing not working. Darragh Sullivan, Finn, Healy and Walsh were excellent on the ball while every other player worked their socks off.
