I've seen no videos yet but my view from the stand in Mallow was that Connolly ran in and caught the UL No. 4 awkwardly into the chest. I didn't think the malous and intention was there in the tackle to take the head off him. It was a rush of blood and Connolly should have been more careful in his approach to that tackle. In the context of it, a yellow would suffice. Mikey Finn and Brian O Sullivan incident warranted 2 yellows too, in my opinion.

Brian O Sullivan walked away from the panel, that's his own problem, not Pat Ryans. If I was PR, I wouldn't be asking him back, I'd prefer players who stayed and fought for a placeJack Leahy with 4 points from play looked a better player than Jack Cahalane tonight altough I understand hard game to judge with the red cards.
Also Ethan Twomey had a nightmare for UCC. Brian O Sullivan 3 points from midfield for UL. Shocked tbh both Leahy and O Sullivan aren't in Cork squad.
